Since 2006, TB Geocon has lived and embodied the fascination of geology. Since 2012, we have been actively involved in the mining and raw materials industry, contributing our extensive expertise to a wide range of projects.
With a deep passion for field geology, we work in various terrains and climate zones – from scorching deserts to icy glacier landscapes. Our international experience spans nearly all continents, allowing us to approach geological challenges from a comprehensive perspective.

Geological Mapping

Proven methods remain essential, complemented by digital tools and GIS applications.<br>Accurate maps form the foundation of all geological work – crucial for exploration, resource assessment, and analysis. Time and efficiency remain key factors.
Underground Mapping
Caves, abandoned mines, or active underground operations. General mapping, structural geological mapping, or mapping based on resource content. There is no better 3D exposure anywhere in the world.
Underground Reconnaissance
There is a black hole, and no one knows where it leads? It’s time to bring light into the darkness. Man-made or natural. Narrow tunnels or vertical shafts. Rock or ice. Rope access, swimming in a wetsuit, or simply walking on dusty ground.
Drill Program Planning
Exploration drilling – from greenfield sites to active mining, whether remote or in the city, accessible by helicopter or ship.<br>Planning and management require thoughtful solutions. The process doesn’t end with the drilling rig – core handling, logging, and sampling are essential. Every detail matters: from infrastructure to borehole safety.
Drill Core Storage Planning & Setup
Setting up and executing a drilling program is one thing. But handling cores, logging, preparing, and storing samples is another. There are countless ways to set up core drilling and storage. Certainly, there is a tailored solution for every project.
Expedition Support
Experience with remote, helicopter-supported camps – from construction to logistics. Safety-conscious, solution-oriented, and ready for action. Skilled in ship and helicopter operations, with extensive local knowledge in polar regions, particularly in Greenland.
Polar Expedition Cruising
Experienced expedition leader in both polar regions for cruise companies – from sailing ships to large expedition and cruise vessels. Certified in safety and crowd management (STCW).
Zodiac/Landing Craft Operator
Certified boat captain since 2014 with valid motorboat licenses. Experienced as a driving instructor on cruise ships and in challenging conditions such as strong winds, high waves, and beach landings. Basic knowledge of boat and engine maintenance.
Firearm Handler & Bear Protection
Certified firearms specialist for bear protection since 2012. Worked as a weapons officer, firearms expert, and (polar) bear specialist on various expeditions. Holder of a valid Canadian firearms license (PAL) and a "Svalbard firearms loan license."
Rope Access Technician Level 2
Holder of a Level 2 Rope Access Technician certificate from the Swiss Mountain Guide Association. Experienced in all types of terrain – rock and ice – from previous expeditions and as a certified mountain and cave rescuer.
Off-road Vehicle Operator
Years of experience with off-road vehicles in various terrains around the world. SHERPS, ATVs, UTVs, snowmobiles, Landcruisers, and other 4×4 vehicles. Experienced on rock, sand, and ice.
